- Service provider change in digital asset management: investify TECH succeeds Elinvar
- New services planned, including an app for mobile use
The Warburg Navigator, the digital asset management of M.M.Warburg & CO, is changing service providers: With immediate effect, the technical infrastructure will be provided by investify TECH, who follow Elinvar. “Together with the Berlin-based fintech Elinvar, we were the first private bank in Germany to launch a digital asset management service in 2017 and have continuously developed it further. We would like to thank the entire Elinvar team for the consistently good and always very trusting cooperation as well as the pioneering spirit they have shown,” says Gabriela Rieks, Head of Product Warburg Navigator at M.M.Warburg & CO.
With the change of service provider, a technical reorientation of the Warburg Navigator is planned: The focus is on the development of an application so that the Warburg Navigator can also be used on smartphones. In addition, further services such as the setting up of direct debit-enabled savings plans, the simpler generation of reports, the opening of joint custody accounts and custody accounts also for minors are to be implemented. “Our goal is to offer our customers even more convenience, services and customer-specific solutions. We want to take this step with investify TECH as a service provider that has an excellent view of customer needs,” Rieks explains the change.
“We are delighted that M.M.Warburg & CO, one of the major independent private banks, has decided to cooperate with us,” says Dr Harald Brock, Managing Director of investify TECH. “Building on our broad experience with asset managers, private banks and major banks, we aim to increase customer benefits in the coming months with the further development of the Warburg Navigator. M.M.Warburg & CO will benefit from our proven platform approach.”
With Warburg Navigator, assets from 20,000 euros can be managed digitally – at low costs of 0.8% to 1.0% p.a., but still individually according to the risk specifications of the customers. Unlike other digital asset management services, the portfolios are actively managed and consist of selected ETFs and actively managed funds. Warburg Bank practical report: Real digital asset management in just a few weeks
The Warburg Navigator was launched in 2017 as the first digital asset management solution from a private bank. But little has happened technically since then. With a change of service provider in spring 2023, the product was quickly supplemented with new technical features.
From the first to the last day we were always 100% on schedule, and it was pretty tight. I have rarely experienced that.
